The howls of delighted Wolfies were heard all across the internet today after a sneaky tweet from a Teen Wolf cast member included a picture of alpha wolf Tyler Hoechlin, back on set.
Linden Ashby, who plays Sheriff Stilinski, tweeted the image taken behind the scenes, three times, deleting it twice, before being satisfied with the ironic wording and hashtags in the tweet:

The picture shows Hoechlin looking tanned and gorgeous, next to a similarly hunky Dylan O’Brien, Teen Wolf’s Stiles Stilinski.
Much adored and fretted over by fans since the end of season 3A, Hoechlin’s character, werewolf Derek Hale, appeared to leave the show at the end of the midseason finale.
Fears that 3B would be without everyone’s favorite sourwolf seemed confirmed when Hoechlin removed a reference to his role on the show from his Twitter profile.
MTV, however, rushed to allay fan panic via their official Teen Wolf tumblr, saying fans had nothing to worry about.
“Let the man shorten his twitter bio,” MTV posted. “He’s still a gigantic part of the next season.”
Seems like Papa Stilinski’s candid shot will put fears to rest once and for all.
