Teen Wolf: From Lone Wolf to Dark Knight?

Entertainment News Comments Off on Teen Wolf: From Lone Wolf to Dark Knight?

The Hollywood rumor always goes into overdrive after San Diego Comic Con, but our favourite bit of news to come out of the world’s biggest nerd-fest is something of a howler.

Tyler Hoechlin, Teen Wolf’s Alpha heart throb Derek Hale, has been pipped to don Batman’s cowl in the upcoming Superman Vs Batman film, announced at the Con.

Hoechlin, who was at the convention for the Teen Wolf panel and signing (and probably the Game Of Thrones panel on account of him being a huge Thrones fanboy), is said to have met with Warner Brothers’s high and mighties during the event. Sources called Hoechlin a “front runner” for the role, and suggestions he will be screen testing opposite Superman himself, Henry Cavill, have been floating around.

WB have, naturally, said nothing official about any casting of the much anticipated team up film, with Cavill going so far as to say he has not even been confirmed to reprise his spandex clad role.

Other names tipped for the batcave are True Blood’s Joe Manganiello and Ryan Gosling.

Hoechlin’s Mom added fuel to the debate when she tweeted that, while she thought her son too young to take on the role, it’s be “awesome”.

One thing is certain, after the grueling workout regime the wolves of Beacon Hills follow, Hoechlin will certainly do Batman’s suit and cowl justice.

So what do you think? Will Tyler Hoechlin play the Dark Knight, or just is it another flighty rumor?
