SDCC 2013: News from the Teen Wolf Signing

Entertainment News, San Diego Comic Con Comments Off on SDCC 2013: News from the Teen Wolf Signing

by Kylie Klein:

The cast of Teen Wolf proved they are just as noble as their characters when they jumped to defense of fans during a signing session at Comic Con on Friday morning.

Just one hundred dedicated Wolfies were able to claim tickets to the Fox Booth signing, with some lining up from 1am for the opportunity to meet their favourite Werewolves.

However, with a time limit on the event, staff at the booth cut the line off with a handful of people yet to have posters signed.

Daniel Sharman (beta werewolf, Isaac Lahey) and Tyler Hoechlin (alpha Derek Hale), who were closest to the distraught fans, demanded they be let through. After some negotiation the cast were able to sign for all ticket holders.

One of the last fans through called the situation “tense”.

“They got us through though,” she said.  “They’re a good cast.”

Wolfies who were unable to get tickets swarmed the signing booth, with security adopting a ‘shoot and scoot’ policy – one picture per fan before being moved on.

The number of fans at the event reflects the show’s growing popularity, with the most recently aired episode, Currents, drawing the show’s largest audience to date.

Also at the signing were stars Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien, Holland Roden, Chrystal Reed and Max and Charlie Carver.
