Attention authors and aspiring authors!
DarkMedia is now accepting short stories and poetry for publication on DarkMedia.com. As a rapidly growing resource for all things Dark, we would like to extend our involvement in the literary community by supporting and promoting incredible works of fiction. We will be accepting both original short stories and poetry.
Submission Guidelines:
Must be within the category of Dark Fiction/Literary Horror. (i.e. Poe, Le Fanu, and Henry James)
Short Story Length: 1000-3000 words
Poetry Length: up to 500 words
RTF Format — No Exceptions!
Simultaneous submissions welcome, but it must be pulled from circulation upon acceptance.
DarkMedia will retain exclusive rights to the work for six months.
After that, all rights return, in full, to the author.
Zombies, vampires, ghosts, and anything in between welcome!
We do NOT want:
- Excessive Violence/ Gore
- Torture/ Abuse/ Rape
- Homophobia/ Sexism/ Racism

DarkMedia.com will be posting the selected pieces on a monthly basis. All entries received before the 25th of the month will be considered for the following month. Any entries submitted after that date will be considered for the next round of publication.
